Minnesota

So we decided to head out to the midwest to enjoy the warming weather.  The week before we arrived it was something like -20…Fuck that.  Anyways, we had 2 crews, one consisting of Darrell, Bennee, Biittner, Andy, and Sean…The other consisting of Ben, Alex, Laurent, Jordan, Jonas, Joe, Jake, Oli, Jan, and myself.  We were there for about 9 days, had a great time, and got some good shit.  Here is about 50 photos from the trip to help you feel as if you were there.

First spot of the trip.  Minnesotans are down with snowboarding and were glad to let us hit this one.  Sure not like Salt Lake City.  Trying to hit a spot in Utah is similar to robbing a bank.  We made the best of our situation and got some moves.  A few hours later and we were off to celebrate.

As with any good house party, there is plenty of dancing, lots of booze, a huge brawl, and then the cops.

Jordan may look like he has makeup on, but those are just battle wounds from about 7 punches to the face.  The other guys got hit with bottles and were totally bleeding….We won.

On the way back to the hotel Jan decided to return a bit of booze back to the gas station.

He gave a little tip to the taxi driver as well.

Larry Penguin is also known as Laurent Nicolas Paquin, just don’t call him LNP, he’s not backing that shit.

Back to the hotel.

Alex got this sweet Ride board and we all took turns writing a story on it.

Ben is more of a rum and coke guy.

The next few days were all similar to the previous…Wake up, hit some sort of rail, back to the hotel, celebrate life, mall of america, bars, all that, and start over…..

We watched some local videos at the Michilot residence and found this gem of good ol’ Joey Sexton.

Instead of celebrating the ol’ fashioned way, this night we took on the MALL OF AMERICA.

Alex took one of the hardest slams I have seen so he got to enjoy the MALL OF AMERICA on a wheelchair.

This mall has rollercoasters in it…poor Alex couldn’t ride them.  Thats ok, because none of us did. Costs a lot of money to get on them things.

The funny thing is we rented a mini-van…They didn’t have enough for all of us to get them or else we would have.

A few days later we met up with Jake O.E…. he was deathly ill but still down to snowboard.  We hit this sketchy kink rail that was falling over on both sides, after that we scoped some spots and hit the bar.

We held it down, seeing that we were the only ones there.

Ben makes friends everywhere he goes.

Larry goes far beyond making friends everywhere he goes.
